When I write my autobiography I will dedicate an entire chapter to this one experience. There are many things I am proud of from this experience and one of them was that I was a direct influence on who made the audience. It looked like the United Nations in that church! In fact, the local organizers of TEDxCharleston interviewed me afterwards to figure out how I recruited such a diverse audience. The secret: I asked.
